Lucy - Virginia (2016)

Hello, Danielle and Kevin. Just wanted to send you a couple pictures and an update on Lucy. It took us a week to decide what we wanted to name her. We would have left it Lucy, but I have an Aunt Lucy. Every name we considered, just didn't fit her personality. Finally we decided on Ginger - it fit perfectly. On our 5 hour trip home, she laid in my lap the whole time. We stopped once for a potty & water break - she just sat down and did nothing - the harness and leash scared her I think. I took her for her first veterinary visit October 24, 2016. The doctor thought she was a beautiful sweet little puppy and in perfect health! Once she became comfortable with us and her new home, she is no longer that docile little pup. She is now headstrong and full of energy. She is cautious with new experiences, but so far she loves our 2 cats (can't say they love her as much), loves visiting with our daughter's 3 dogs and loves children. Because she is as fast as lightning, I am hesitant to let her off leash, but we will keep working on that one. Housebreaking has been a challenge, but finally this past week, she kind of has the hang of it. All in all, she is a sweet puppy, and we love her so much. Thank you. donna
